I have provided workshops and consulting for a multitude of nursing programs across the nation. These services include:
WORKSHOPS - A variety of topics can be presented to nursing faculty, nursing directors within nursing programs to assist them in understanding curriculum development, teaching effectiveness, and testing. Workshops can be provided to nursing students to help them succeed in nursing school and be effective test takers. These can be on zoom or in-person.
CONSULTING SERVICES - provide a variety of services based on nursing program’s needs. A contract can be created over a period of time to meet help the nursing program meet their goals through the development of an action plan. Examples include:
Curriculum Revision to incorporate NGN concepts such as clinical judgment leveled in both clinical and classroom through their entire curriculum
Improving NCLEX Pass Rates involves reviewing trends, and approaches that are currently being used and EBP practices that are recommended to be used to improve retention and success.
Testing - to create a Testing Guidelines Manual that identifies current successes with testing and then works with faculty to identify improvements needed in internal and external testing processed, then documenting it for use by faculty and new faculty.
Implementing Next Generation (NGN) - training faculty about the NGN concepts and how to implement them in to curriculum - both didactic and clinical, also writing NGN test questions to add to course exams.
